Flower Care
Care guide for
your bouquet.
Your florals are hand-assembled and shipped in protective packaging — a few small steps after they arrive will keep them looking their best for the camera.

Unbox immediately
Shipping can be tough on fresh flowers, so bring the box inside as soon as it arrives — don’t let it sit on the porch. Open the box, carefully lift each bouquet by the stems (not the blooms), and remove any protective wrapping. The faster you get them breathing, the better they’ll look.

Rehydrate with flower food
Every Wedding Box ships with flower food packets — everything you need is included. Open a packet, dissolve it in a few inches of room-temperature water, then trim about half an inch off the bottom of each stem at a sharp angle. Dip the stems into the flower-food solution so they can drink and revive after their journey.

Store in the fridge
If you’re not using the flowers the same day, place them upright in the fridge. They’ll stay fresh for up to three days. Just make sure they’re not sitting next to food — ethylene from ripening fruit can shorten their life. Keep them in a cool spot away from direct sunlight and heat.

Wedding day prep
On the morning of your wedding, pull the bouquets out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Give them a gentle shake to let any compressed blooms open up. Once they’re aired out and looking full, they’re ready to carry down the aisle.
