Frequently Asked

Everything brides
ask us.

Pricing, sizing, shipping, customization, flower care — straight answers to the questions we hear from brides every week.

How are Wedding Box Florals different from other wedding flower boxes?+
Most wedding flower-in-a-box services ship loose stems and ask the bride to arrange them herself the night before her wedding. We design and assemble every bouquet by hand in our studio, then ship it pre-arranged so all you do is lift it from the box. No tools, no tutorials, no last-minute stress.
How much does a wedding bouquet from Wedding Box Florals cost?+
Our pricing is built for budget-conscious brides who still want a designer look. Most full bridal sets — bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and matching boutonnieres — come in well below the cost of a traditional florist. Build your set in the customizer to see live pricing.
How far in advance should I order my wedding flowers?+
We recommend ordering at least four weeks before your wedding date. This gives our design team time to source the freshest stems, hand-assemble your arrangements, and ship them to arrive one to two days before you walk down the aisle.
Do you ship wedding flowers nationwide?+
Yes — Wedding Box Florals ships to all 48 states in the contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
What styles and colors can I choose from?+
Choose from three signature design styles — Modern, Garden, and Whimsical — and pair them with a primary color (70% of the bouquet) and a secondary accent color (30%). Preview every combination live in the customizer before you order.
Are the flowers real?+
Yes. Every bouquet is built with fresh-cut, premium-grade stems sourced from trusted growers and hand-arranged by our floral designers.
What if my flowers arrive damaged?+
Every order ships in protective, hydrating packaging designed for fresh florals. In the rare case something arrives less than perfect, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and our team will make it right.
Can you really ship wedding flowers in a box?+
Yes — and it works better than most brides expect. Every Wedding Box Florals order ships in protective, temperature-controlled packaging designed specifically for fresh-cut stems. Your bouquets arrive hydrated, fully assembled, and wrapped to survive transit. Shipping wedding flowers is now a mainstream option that thousands of brides choose every year instead of booking a traditional local florist.
How does a bridal bouquet box work?+
You design your bouquet in our online customizer — choosing the style, color palette, size, and greenery level — and we hand-arrange it in our studio. A few days before your wedding, your bouquet ships in a custom-fitted box that keeps it hydrated and protected. You open the box, trim the stems, place the bouquet in water, and you're ready to walk down the aisle. No tools, no arranging, no stress.
How long will my wedding flowers stay fresh after the box arrives?+
Your flowers are designed to look their best from delivery through the wedding day — typically three to five days after arrival when cared for properly. We ship your order to arrive one to two days before your wedding, which gives you a buffer without risking freshness. Follow the care instructions included in your box to get the longest life out of every stem.
Are pre-assembled wedding flowers really as good as a local florist?+
For most brides, yes — and for budget-conscious brides, they are dramatically better value. We use the same premium-grade, fresh-cut stems that traditional florists source from, and every bouquet is hand-arranged by a floral designer. The difference is that we skip the consultation overhead, expensive storefronts, and day-of delivery markups, which is why our bouquets typically cost a fraction of what a local florist charges for comparable work.
What is the starting price of a Wedding Box Florals bouquet?+
A standard bridal bouquet starts at $159.99, bridesmaid bouquets at $89.99, boutonnieres at $37.99, corsages at $27.99, and reception centerpieces at $47.99. Most full bridal sets — bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres — fall between $300 and $600 total, well below what a traditional florist typically charges.
What sizes of bridal bouquet can I order?+
Every bouquet comes in three sizes: Standard (no upcharge), Large (+$40), and Oversized (+$80). Standard is around 9 inches in diameter and suits most petite to average-frame brides; Oversized is closer to 13 inches and photographs beautifully on taller frames or for dramatic editorial-style portraits.
How many bridesmaid bouquets should I order?+
Order one bouquet for each bridesmaid, plus a maid or matron of honor. Most brides order between 2 and 6 bridesmaid bouquets. Our customizer lets you adjust quantities up to 20 per item, and bridesmaid bouquets automatically match your bridal palette so the wedding party photographs as a cohesive set.
Can I customize the level of greenery in my bouquet?+
Yes. Every bouquet ships with one of three greenery levels: Standard (balanced blooms and greenery), More Greenery (less blooms, more foliage and texture — +$40), or All Blooms (greenery-light, dense flowers — +$80). You can preview each option live in the customizer before checkout.
What flowers will be in my bouquet?+
Every Wedding Box Florals bouquet is built with premium-grade fresh-cut stems sourced from trusted growers. Specific flower varieties depend on what is in season and at peak quality the week your order ships, but the style, color palette, and overall look you choose in the customizer is exactly what you'll receive — our designers select the freshest stems within your palette.
Can I see a sample bouquet before my wedding?+
Yes — we offer sample bouquets at standard pricing, which is the same fresh-cut bouquet your wedding-day order will be. Many brides order a sample 6–8 weeks before the wedding to confirm color and style. Build a single Standard bridal bouquet in the customizer to order one.
What if my wedding date changes after I order?+
Reach out to us at info@weddingboxflorals.com as soon as your date changes. As long as you contact us at least two weeks before your originally scheduled ship date, we can reschedule your shipment to your new wedding week at no extra charge.
How do I prepare my bouquet on the wedding morning?+
Pull the bouquets out of the fridge 30 minutes before you need them, give them a gentle shake to let any compressed blooms open back up, and check that the stems still have a fresh, clean cut. Full step-by-step instructions ship with every box and are also published at /flower-care/.
Will my flowers wilt during the ceremony?+
No — fresh-cut bouquets stay vibrant out of water for several hours, especially when you start with rehydrated, fridge-stored stems. We design every Wedding Box Florals bouquet with sturdy varieties chosen to hold up through the ceremony, portraits, and reception entrance.
Can I preserve my bouquet after the wedding?+
Yes, and many brides do. Our blog post 'What to Do with Your Bouquet After the Wedding' covers air-drying, professional pressing, and resin preservation options. The most common DIY method is hanging the bouquet upside down in a cool, dark, dry space for two to three weeks.
Do you offer flowers for other events besides weddings?+
Wedding Box Florals specializes specifically in weddings — bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and reception centerpieces. We don't currently offer arrangements for showers, anniversaries, funerals, or general gifting, which lets us focus on doing weddings extraordinarily well.
Is Wedding Box Florals a real business?+
Yes — Wedding Box Florals is a U.S.-based company founded in 2026 by Josh Woods and Olivia Carroll. We hand-assemble every bouquet in our studio and have shipped designer wedding florals to brides across the lower 48 states. You can read our full story at /about/.
